• Marriage Contract, 6 Nov 1843, Notre Dame Basilica, Bytown, Ontario, Canada. Listed as Hedge on the marriage record but this was possibly because of a French-speaking Priest. Married Thomas O'Hara.

• Census, 1901, Canada. showed her living with one of her children and that she arrived in Canada January 1, 1823 at age one.

Mary married Thomas Michael O'Hara, son of Unknown and Unknown, on 6 Nov 1843 in Notre Dame Basilica, Bytown, Ontario, Canada. (Thomas Michael O'Hara was born in 1818 in Ireland, County Sligo,¹ died on 10 Oct 1892 and was buried on 12 Oct 1892 in St. Isidore Cemetery, March, Ontario, Canada.)

Received transcript of marriage document. Here is the wording:
The sixth day of November, one thousand eight hundred and
forty three, after the banns of marriage have been thrice published
at the parish of our public nuptials between Thomas
O'Hara and Mary Edge of March, no impediment here
being discovered, we the undersigned priest vicar of
this Mission, have given them the nuptial benediction
and received their mutual consent to marriage in presence
of George Edge, Margaret Edge, William Kerwin
