William Nash
In 1870 they lost all the buldings in the great fire that swept the western part of the county. They saved their lives by going into the river, probably driving their stock ahead of them. They put up a shack of sorts till a new log house could be built. This house and the barn built later are still standing, as of 1999. At the time of the 1861 census they were living in Torbolton Touwnship and there is reason to believe that it was on the
